lots of birthdays!

dumdeedumdum!! another boring, lonely 3hr break.. there is still the citibank challenge briefing at smu to attend later... we feel like poor students being exploited by the sch body for fame n fortune. ok, strike tt. fame perhaps but 1 ipod touch to be shared by 2 is hardly considered 'fortune'.

not tt jerry n i can come close to winning the ipod touch or psp or anything else for tt matter. anyway, tiffany just told me abt the pact some of them made for tmr - trashing out by 12.30pm. wahaha! sounds tempting. at least tis way, only half a saturday is used. =)

went to chinatown to check out the pink canon ixus 80 i fell in love with while shopping with ting on the 23rd.. didn't buy it in the end coz i didn't want it to be impulsive n all.. more than 1 mth pkt money hor!! plus, there was batman to watch!



this movie is sadistic.. the ugliness of joker really chills to the bone. n the way he sadistically plays with his knife in his victim's mouths as he recounts how he got his scars n the eerie "why so serious?" statements. n he is UGLY n dead (in real life lah) which makes his character even more spooky.

oh wells, it wasn't just me who got creeped out.. kids cried n had to leave the theaters too! so girls, unless u hv a guy in tow, this movie is not encouraged. or mayb i'm just a scaredy-cat. *shrugs*

met up with the friday gang again... this time to celebrate jessica's 19th bday!!


while waiting for jessica to finish her haircut, we initially decided on dinner at pasta de waraku.. but aft settling down, we decided to leave for just plain japanese at the downstairs waraku. although both restaurants are under the same umbrella, it was super malu to tell the staff we wanted to leave n we even had to wait for them to return the cake which they had stored away for us!! *faints*

cheeleng didn't wanna lose out with her basin of curry rice either! lolx.

finally, the lemon icing with white choc cake was brought out for our dear princess~



aft dinner, we tried out the hippo tours! it wasn't v extrordinary but i loved it!! heee.



we went frm raffles place to clarke quay then back again.. approx 30min. nxt stop, I WANNA GO ON THE DHL BALLOON!!! *hint hint* :P

aft the trip, we headed to esplanade rooftop to talk crap.. the guys also treated us to drinks n cupcorn!!! haha.. i love being a girl! :) darren also surprised me with strawberry hello panda much to the protests of cheeleng n jessica. haha... oops!



at nearly midnight, we waited for gerald to come pick us up...
me: "i see no evil!"
cheeleng: "i hear no evil!"
jessica: "i speak no evil!"

today is the 1st day of the hungry ghost mth so appropriate hur? 0_o"

the friday gang celebrates another birthday!!!


we treated sengwang to hotpot culture's steamboat buffet coz the big man typically complains abt going hm hungry aft every friday outing. =( the cooked food menu selection was not bad n the fondue was kinda fun (poor choc quality though)... but all in all, i didn't think the $35 i paid was worthwhile. give me marina bay steamboat anyday man!

an early bday for the baby brother!! alot of bdays hor? broke liao lah!!! sobs..

went to vivo for lunch n alan (trix's bf) deliberately came down to personally wish the v lucky brother.. the more i see alan, the more happy i am for my sister. seriously, he is positively the sweetest, most attentive n indulgent bf i hv ever seen. *stamps approval*

n no, i'm not comparing.. just genuinely happy for them. =)



we had traditional wood-fired pizza n oh-so-sinful calamari rings.. YUM!



nxt, we caught 2 back-to-back movies.. tts the gd thing abt going out with mama. =D

red cliff was fab! unlike all boring chinese epics, i found the conversations among the all-too-familiar plot rather engaging.. n the actors r goood! costumes n props too!! but its literal "to be continued" ending left me cursing %^$"&@^$#;*!! talk abt anti-climax! bahx.



the second show was mainly for the brother.. its a nice show. but not really my type. so yups.

oh wells, chris cheong's trading cls gonna start soon... i hope he wun give me hell for missing his "intensive secret training" yest. zzz.
